WE WILL NEVER FORGET

One goal of the SSFOA is that every time someone sees the Silver Star Flag flying or the Silver Star Banner displayed in a window that all will remember the blood sacrifices and the unseen wounds that our Armed Forces have given to this great nation, the United States or America.

The Silver Star Families of America

define wounded as: Any Armed Forces personnel either currently serving honorably or those who have served honorably from any war, who having served in a war zone has been wounded by enemy action or who have been injured or contracted a serious illness that could be rated at least 10% disabled by the Department of Veterans Affairs. All wounds, injuries or illness must have originated in a war zone. Purple Heart recipients, victims of friendly fire, kids injured in a war zone, those who suffer from PTSD, Agent Orange effects and Gulf War syndrome.

Welcome to the Silver Star Familes Forum

The SSFOA honors and assists our wounded and their families in many ways. Our main mission is to honor our wounded service members and Veterans with a Silver Star Banner and certificate. SSFOA also has programs to assist them and their families. Please visit www.silverstarfamilies.org

We want to hear from you

As SSFOA is becoming recognized across the states, Germany and Iraq, for its support and care of our wounded, so it is also becoming a name that brings some opposition in its support of our troops.

Please feel free to voice your opinion, HOWEVER, the entire Silver Star Families websites, Hear4You, and the Silver Star Forum is under the guidance and jurisdiction of SSFOA. Inappropriate language or slander will be removed.
